had the basics I needed. Room was clean, great for a short stay. Staff where very pleasent.
lift is a bit of a joke, really needs up graded to a larger area. Not an issue to me but a bit of struggle for older people. can only take two peole
Location is convenience and clean room.
It wasnt too big. Rooms were comfortable and good value. The sun terrace was nice and was on the same level as my room (1st floor) and I am not one for eating big breakfasts so took my tea and snack there to eat in the morning sunshine. The hotel was also near the shops and a 10 minute walk from the station and 20 minute walk from wimbledon common and the very quaint village.
We came to stay because it was close to Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club. My husband had been given a Red Letter Day Experience for his birthday. We booked on-line and we were delighted that it was better than we expected. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly come again, especially as there was free parking and with a bus stop outside, we could use our buss passes to travel around.
Clean, friendly and pleasent. I would recommend this hotel to others.
Unfortunately the phone in the room was broken, and although I did mention this to hotel staff, it was not replaced during my stay. I would have used this phone for room service and contacting reception for taxis etc. I ended up going out for food instead of ordering room service instead so the hotel also lost on money. In addition, my conference started at 8.30 am (saturday and sunday) and breakfast only started at 8am so I was unavailable to enjoy breakfast.
Initally ,when we saw our room , that was advertised as Double Exec large room , we were very disappointed , as it was none of these . In fact it was very cramped , . I asked to be upgraded , the staff were very helpful , but I felt I should,nt have had to pay extra , as this room 208 was what the initial room was advertised as ..
Visit / buisness
It was easy to find and easy to access. The Parking is a bonus especially in this area.Though not an executive type of Hotel it is well furnished and Very Clean. The staff I dealt with were Excellent, from Receptionist to waiter to cleaner.Would use again.
Nothing it was exactly what I was expecting.
The location was great and so handy to walk to local shops restaurants and the theatre.
Lovely and quiet - no traffic noise. There was plenty of safe parking spaces at the rear of the hotel.
Availability to train, shops and restaurants. The bathroom was immaculate.
The room was a bit small and I wasn't too sure about no blinds on the windows and the pathway outside.
ideal location for my visit to wimbledon. clean, comfortable hotel, friendly staff.
was disappointed that the price i paid for weekend visit did not include breakfast, not even a continental breakfast.
I stayed at this hotel whilst I was on a business trip and I will most certainly stay there again. Staff were very polite and helpful, location ideal and the rooms very clean and comfortable.
There wasnt anything to dislike.
Reception staff absolutely fantastic, made me very welcome and very cheerful which is lovely to see.
The room was small but comfortable although there is no difference in the size of a room between a club or standard.
The front desk staff where not very helpful- if anything a little rude
My room was very clean. On site parking was good for an urban hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, although not included in the base price, was good.
